PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catalyst which exhibits high activity when ethylbenzene is dehydrogenated under the coexistence of carbon dioxide to produce styrene.;SOLUTION: The catalyst for dehydrogenation of ethylbenzene composed of iron oxide, aluminum oxide and yttrium oxide as essential components, and when the whole catalyst is considered to be 100 wt.%, preferably the contents of the iron oxide, aluminum oxide and yttrium oxide are adjusted to 5-20 wt.%, 60-94 wt.% and 1-20 wt.%, respectively.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
