PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the adhesion of staining fluid, etc., which is contained in water for gargle, and discharged by a patient, onto the upper front surface of a lid member in a blot removing apparatus for a dental cuspidor.;SOLUTION: The blot removing apparatus for trapping blot to be thrown out into the cuspidor 3 is arranged in the drain of the dental cuspidor 3. The apparatus includes: a blot removing vessel main body 16 having multiple small holes to make water pass through and trap blot; and the lid member 17 which is removably arranged in the upper part of the blot removing vessel main body 16 with a little gap from the upper end of the vessel main body, and also provided with multiple blades in its lower peripheral part. The blot removing vessel main body 16 includes a supporter 16a to be extended upward from the center of a bottom part, and the lid member 17 is placed at the top of the supporter 16a so as to be freely rotatable. When washing water W is made to flow into the cuspidor 3, the water W hits the blades 17a, rotates the lid member 17, and, then, removes the staining fluid on the upper front surface of the lid member 17.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
