PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new protein having platelet aggregation-inhibiting activity. PSOLUTION: Ti-4 Protein is the new protein derived from Triatoma infestans. Ti-4 Gene encoding the protein is obtained. Since the Ti-4 protein has platelet aggregation-inhibiting activity, the medicine containing the Ti-4 protein as an active ingredient is effective for treating and preventing cardiac infarction, pulmonary infarction and cerebral infarction as a platelet aggregation inhibitor.
