PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sensitivity calibration method of a fluorescence detection apparatus for conveniently calibrating sensitivity of the fluorescence detection apparatus without using a reagent, and the fluorescence detection apparatus for adopting the method.;SOLUTION: The sensitivity calibration method of the fluorescence detection apparatus 1 for detecting fluorescence emitted from a sample by using a photodetector 21a, uses a fixed reference fluorescent material 100 as a sensitivity calibration reference having previously found information of fluorescence intensity detected on predetermined conditions, and corrects an output from the photodetector 21a based on the information and the output when the photodetector 21a detects the fluorescence emitted from the fixed reference fluorescent material 100.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
