PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an olefin polymer, by which the olefin polymer is efficiently produced, while inhibiting sheeting on a gas phase fluidized bed polymerization, and to provide an installation and an operation method therefor.;SOLUTION: This piping for supplying the seed powder, used for transporting the seed powder to a gas phase fluidized bed type polymerization reactor for an olefin with a carrier gas, is characterized in that the inner surface of the pipe comprises a fluororesin. The method for transporting the seed powder comprises transporting the seed powder with the carrier gas to the gas phase fluidized bed type polymerization reactor for the olefin through the piping whose inner surface comprises the fluororesin.
