PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an AE (Acoustic Emission) measuring technique capable of not only passive measurement but also active measurement in regard to an AE measuring technique capable of detecting deformation or a precursor of a large scale collapse phenomenon of a steep base rock slope.;SOLUTION: The AE measurement body is provided with a vibrating body outputting an electric signal responding to AE when AE of minute fracture of rock is detected, and capable of generating a vibration responding to a predetermined electric signal when the predetermined electric signal is applied, an amplification circuit capable of amplifying the electric signal outputted from the vibrating body, an oscillation circuit capable of outputting an electric signal for vibrating the vibrating body, and a change-over circuit alternatively changing over connection of the vibrating body to either one of the amplification circuit or the oscillation circuit.
