PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for a bubble tube wherein even when the bore part of a cylindrical tubular body becoming the main body of the bubble tube is comparatively large, a period of time until the generation of air bubbles is shortened by increasing the surface area of the bottom part, and at the same time, generated air bubbles of a uniform size are slowly raised, and a decorative lantern for funeral ceremony for which the manufactured bubble tube is used as an illuminating tool. PSOLUTION: The bottom part of the cylindrical tubular body 2 is formed into a spherical bottom part 2a. A ring-like foamed body 3 is attached to a valley part 2a' between the outer periphery of the skirt part of the spherical bottom part 2a and the inner peripheral wall of the cylindrical tubular body 2. After filling a lower boiling point liquid 4 comprising a chloride based organic solvent and a pellet of a plastic which is dissolved with the liquid 4 in the cylindrical tubular body 2, the bore opening is sealed, and thus this bubble tube is constituted.
