PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a three-dimensional cam profile determination device and a three-dimensional cam profile determination method capable of performing highly accurately a consistency determination between the cam profile of the three-dimensional cam and the cam profile based on a design value by a simple constitution.;SOLUTION: A model acquisition part 36 in a control part 28 acquires a three-dimensional model of a cam piece 12 which is a determination object based on the design value from CAD data or the like. An inclination detection part 34 detects the inclined attitude of the cam piece 12 set on an arbor 14 by an end face measuring device 22. A model attitude correction part 38 corrects the attitude of the acquired three-dimensional model so as to have the same attitude as the inclined attitude. A determination part 40 compares the consistency between the cam profile of the cam piece 12 in the inclined state recognized by a profile recognition part 32 through a profile measuring device 24 and the cam profile of the three-dimensional model whose inclination is corrected.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
