KARAOKE SYSTEM, PORTABLE COMMUNICATION TERMINAL, AND PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To conduct a karaoke singing employing a plurality of portable telephones.;SOLUTION: A portable telephone 2 which becomes a master makes an access to the site of a server 1 via the Internet, selects music data and downloads the data with prescribed procedures. Timing information which indicates the reproducing timing of the music is buried in the data. Having completed the downloading, the master transfers the music data to portable telephones 2 which become slaves 1 to N respectively using the radio communication modules mounted on the telephones 2. When a chorus is to be performed, information is mutually exchanged via the modules to determine the parts to be played on the telephones 2. The slaves 1 to N start reproducing of the music data by the instruction from the master. During the reproducing, timing information is transmitted from the master to the slaves via the modules and the reproducing speeds at the slaves are controlled on the basis of the timing information.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
