PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To markedly improve cooling efficiency and entire system efficiency and reliability while so as to generate superconductivity by a simpler structure and surely maintain a high vacuum in a necessary location of the rotor in a superconductive field coil even without a refrigerant supply/recovery device having a complicated structure. PSOLUTION: The cooling system built-in superconducting rotor includes a superconductive field coil 100 and a cooling means cooling the superconductive field coil 100 in the low temperature end formed through a heat flow generated by repeated pressurization and depressurization of an operating fluid. In this way, a refrigerant supply/recovery device of complicated structure is eliminated, superconductivity of the field coil can be generated, reliability can be improved by simplifying even a structure to surely maintain a high vacuum in a necessary loction of the rotor.
