PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a commodity sorting system, a commodity sorting method, and a commodity sorting program, capable of improving working efficiency of a commodity conveyance means in commodity sorting work.;SOLUTION: Travel route information regarding commodity conveyance boxes of a plurality of selling shops which store commodity is determined based on commodity location information indicating commodity to be sorted and a rack location of the commodity. Based on the determined travel route information, a group, which consists of a plurality of commodity conveyance boxes to be conveyed together, is formed, and a plurality of commodity boxes in the group is conveyed by the commodity conveyance device. Traveling movement of the commodity conveyance device is controlled so that the commodity conveyance device can travel from a start position S to a goal position G sequentially through the travel route information on a plurality of commodity conveyance boxes. This shortens the travel distance of the commodity conveyance device 3, and improves working efficiency of the commodity conveyance device 3.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
