PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To calculate arrival time of request data to a database server by performing data transfer between data servers according to a schedule and to notify the arrival time.;SOLUTION: When data requested from a client terminal does not exist in a database server, a scheduling device retrieves a server having the data, decides a schedule for data transfer between the database servers, also calculates the arrival time, and notifies the respective database servers of the arrival time, and the data is distributed between the database servers by burst transfer based on the schedule.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
