PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for generating lyric animation exactly synchronized with performance time series by using the lyric animation data created without considering the performance time series.;SOLUTION: This lyric animation display system is constituted so that the lyric animation data are consecutive super-short story animation including the fixed number of frames segmented corresponding to each one character of lyric character strings, the lyric display control data include lyric character string data, song start standby moment data and song termination moment data about each one character of the lyric character string data and the fixed number of frames to be included in the super-short story animation are allocated from the song start moment to the song termination moment of the character at approximately the same intervals and successively displayed when the super-short story animation corresponding to one character applicable to a song moment is outputted by video in parallel with an output processing of the accompaniment music in the Karaoke device which outputs accompaniment music and the lyric animation exclusive for a specified musical piece by processing Karaoke data including music data, the lyric animation data and lyric display control data of the specified musical piece.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
