PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a system which automatically change display prices according to sales states without making an employee judge discount contents by himself or herself by going to a sales floor for commodities to be sold out on the day.;SOLUTION: The system has a means of gathering sales quantities of variable-priced commodities at a store from a POS terminal 2 in real time by a POS terminal management server 1 and calculating the sales rate at preset sales rate calculation time, a means of determining variable prices of the variable-priced commodities by the POS terminal management server 1 according to variable price setting conditions set according to a combination of the sales rate calculation time and the sales rate at the point of time, and a means of sending the variable prices determined at each sales rate calculation time to a customer commodity price table display device 3 provided on the sales floor to display them and updating the prices of the variable- priced commodities in a commodity unit price file that the POS terminal 2 refers to when selling to the determined variable prices by the POS terminal management server 1.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
