PURPOSE: To make a user able to easily enjoy a slide show (program) by the pictures of a photographic film. ;CONSTITUTION: Picture data, film information IX1 for respective films and frame information IX2 for respective frames are read out of the photographic film with an information recording part and recorded in an optical disk for the user. In the optical disk for the user, resources composed of picture parts (picture data) such as frame pictures or the like to be synthesized with film pictures and sound parts (sound data) such as BGM and a narration or the like are also recorded. Program information constituted of information for indicating an order for performing reproduction, the information relating to the combination of the film pictures and the picture parts and the information for controlling the generation of sound, etc., is prepared in this reproducing device and recorded in the optical disk for the user. Corresponding to the program information, in the specified order, the film pictures and the picture parts are synthesized and displayed and the sound by the sound parts is generated.
