PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a duel waiting portable telephone terminal which enables a user to respond to incoming information by temporarily interrupting call, when the user receives the incoming information from another radio base station during the call. ;SOLUTION: A dual waiting portable telephone terminal is constituted in such a way that, when a second radio wave transmitting-receiving section 5 receives a control signal, while a first radio wave transmitting-receiving section 2 terminal makes radio communication, a control section 8 performs such control that the transmission or transmission and reception of the section 2 is interrupted only for the interrupting time, during which the busy channel with a first radio base station is not cut off. At the same time, the transmission from or transmission and reception from and by the second radio transmitting- receiving section 5 to and from a second radio base station are enabled, only during a prescribed period of time within the interrupting time.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
