Theory of perpetual motion is based on Archimedes principle where body submerged in liquid is subject to vertical upwards thrust equal to weight of liquid volume displaced
The basic principle concerns a body submerged in a liquid being subjected to a vertical thrust directed from bottom to top equal to the weight of the displaced liquid volume. If the body progressively increases in weight initially and then progressively decreases in weight to zero it will have an alternate vertical movement and will be subjected at first to a constant increase in thrust and then to a constant decrease. At the same time the body tips in a liquid of the same density where it will show the same movement. The alternating movement is maintained by the permanent unbalance of the Mercury Oscillator which prevents the perfect balancing of the oscillating system.
