METHOD FOR ASSESSING QUALITY OF LIFE LEVEL IN PATIENTS WITH CHRONIC NON-ULCEROUS COLITIS

The method for assessing the quality of life level in the patients with the chronic non-ulcerous colitis provides for using the questionnaire taking into account the following criteria: the function of the gastrointestinal tract, systemic criteria, emotional criteria and social criteria. Then the quality of life index is calculated according to the formula. When Iql is equal to 80% or higher than 80%, the quality of life is regarded as the satisfactory. The value within the range of 60-79% points to the lowered quality of life, 40-59% - low quality of life, 20-93% -very low quality of life, and 19% and lower û the minimal quality of life.
