METHOD FOR SURGICAL TREATMENT OF ZOLLINGER-ELLISON SYNDROME

The method for the surgical treatment of Zollinger-Ellison syndrome comprises the resection of acid-producing part of the body of stomach and the restoration of the continuity of the alimentary tract employing the isoperistaltic intestinal insert. The proximal end of the insert is anastomosed with the esophagus, while the distal end is anastomosed with the antral part of the stomach.
