The invention relates to the preparation of magnetic and nonmagnetic PARTICLE, COATED a substance polyaldehyde dextran. The invention also relates to the process of making these particles. The coated particles dextran polyaldehyde of this invention, WHICH MAY BE USED PARTICULARLY IN IMMUNOLOGICAL ANALYSIS, have a reduced matrix effect relative to the particles TRADITIONAL, which are devoid of any coating dextran polyaldehyde.
