The purins denitrogenation with degradation of organic matter comprises separation of the solids, application of lime, two-phase settling and desorption of the ammonia in an air supply tower. The ammonia is then absorbed in a second tower by sulphuric acid, for degradation in a fluidised-bed anaerobic reactor. EMBODIMENT - The degradation is completed by using the biogas generated, in calcination of the settling sludge of the treated purins.
