CLOTHING FOR USE IN, UNDER OR ABOVE WATER ACTIVITIES

A garments is described which is typically manufactured smallerthan the correct size for its intended wearer, the material fromwhich said suit is made being stretchable so that the suit is asnug fit on the wearer. The suit is constructed from a pluralityof panels woven from synthetic or naturally occurring fibresjoined to one another along their respective edges, usually alongseams which are effectively sealed so that the resulting suitcovers the entire body of the wearer excepting extremities andextends across the various joints of the wearer which wouldcommonly be expended to flex during diving. The garment isadditionally provided with at least one panel in the region of oneor more joints of the wearer which is of the same wovenmaterial as the remaining materials, but is a panel which is cutfrom the material on the bias as opposed to parallel to the warpor weft of the weave of that material. In this manner, anexceedingly elastic suit, at least in the region of the joints of thewearer when the suit is correctly worm, can be achieved.
