PURPOSE: A porous polymer gel containing a micelle structure formed at a concentration higher than critical micelle concentration is provided by polymerizing compounds having functional groups being polymerizable with ionic surfactants. The polymer gel can solubilize a great amount of molecules into its inside, and has properties of surfactant in a solid phase, thus it is possible to easily separate the solubilized substances by changing solvent. CONSTITUTION: The organic polymer gel with a micelle structure formed by polymerization of organic compounds having polymerizable functional groups in the presence of a crosslinking agent, wherein the organic compound is bonded to a hydrophilic group of a surfactant, and the hydrophobic group of the surfactant is located at the inside of the micelle structure and the organic compound bonded to the hydrophilic group of the surfactant is located at the outside of the micelle structure, is provided by polymerizing monomers obtained by reacting ionic surfactant with an organic compound having a polymerizable functional group and counter ion to the ionic surfactant at a critical micelle concentration or greater in the presence of a crosslinking agent. The method for solubilizing and separating ionic or water-soluble substances uses the organic polymer gel.
