A circuit board comprises at least one rigid region (2) and one flexible region (3), with a rigid layer (4) which is copper coated on one or both sides, or which has conductors. An adhesive (7) is located on the rigid layer, and has cut-outs over the flexible region. No flexible layers (9) are located between the adhesive and the copper film over the rigid or flexible regions. An insulation layer is applied to the inside of the copper film, in the form of a lacquer. The insulation layer is hardened until its free surface loses its adhesiveness.
