HYDROSTATIC SYSTEM FOR EXTRACTING HYDROCARBONS AND OILS FROM THE TANKS OF A SUNKEN SHIP

The invention relates to a hydrostatic system for extracting hydrocarbons and oils from the tanks of a sunken ship. More specifically, the invention relates to elements which are used for the controlled and safe extraction of hydrocarbons and oils, taking advantage of the lower density thereof in relation to the surrounding water and of their resulting tendency to float and settle inside a bell (C) which has been dropped along the length of a guide cable (G) from the surface of the water to the ship (B) on the sea floor. The contents of the tank are emptied into the bell (C) through an automatic-opening valve (V2) and, when a sufficient amount of fuel has entered the bell (C), it floats up along the length of the aforementioned cable (G) and comes to rest at the float (F). The contents of the bell (C) are then emptied into a container by means of a bleed-off valve (V2) and the cycle recommences.
