PURPOSE: A method for deciding a CFN(Connection Frame Number) between a node B and an RNC(Radio Network Controller) in an asynchronous mobile communication system is provided to add a number to a frame to be transmitted from the RNC to the node B and transmit the frame. CONSTITUTION: A receiving time of a node B to receive a forward synchronization frame is obtained by a previous CFN and an obtained TOA(Time Of Arrival), and a mode value is obtained by the receiving time of the node B(510). A time for transmitting data from the node B to the air through a transmission channel is obtained(515). The difference of the obtained receiving time of the node B and the obtained time for transmitting the data is obtained(520). The obtained time difference is calculated by a frame unit(525). The difference of a time for transmitting a CFN in an RNC and a time for transmitting the CFN from the node B to the air is obtained(530). The RNC adds the difference value to an RTD(Round Trip Delay), and decides a CFN to be transmitted secondly(535).
