PURPOSE: Provided are a sword for practicing fencing and a manufacturing method thereof, to suppress fatigue of the wrist and muscle by minimizing air resistance generated during swing or hitting, to prevent damage of sword bodies due to a gap between the sword bodies by integrating the sword bodies formed of different materials in a formation space, and to ensure safety by forming the blade, tip and back of the sword using a synthetic resin without a danger of injuries. CONSTITUTION: The sword for practicing fencing comprises: a metal body inserted into a formation space(10c) formed between upper and lower molds(10a,10b), forming left and right leaf-blades(22,24); and a synthetic resin body integrally formed with the metal body. A resin insertion hole(10d) is formed at one end of a top surface of the upper mold(10a) to be led to the formation space(10c), and an air exhaust hole(10e) is formed at the other end of the top surface of the upper mold(10a) to exhaust air in the formation space(10c) to the outside.
