PURPOSE: A multi-view moving image object based coding system and method for supporting a multiplex display mode and an object-based transmission/reception system and method are provided to give a disparity effect to a multi-view moving image. CONSTITUTION: A multi-view moving image object based coding system includes a shape extractor(31), a data splitter(32), a shape corrector(33), and an object-based encoder(34). The shape extractor receives a left object moving image(L) and a right object moving image(R) and extracts a left object shape(LS) and a right object shape(RS) of a moving image. The data splitter splits the left and right object moving images and left and right object shapes into odd and even field objects. The shape corrector corrects a distortion of shapes of shape information objects divided into odd and even fields by the data splitter. The object-based encoder performs motion and parallax estimation according to shape coding and shape texture.
