DISK PARTISION INFORMATION DETECTION METHOD FOR NETWORK STORE APPARATUS

PURPOSE: A method for searching the disk partition information of a SAN(Storage Area Network) storage is provided to enhance convenience of users by requesting and confirming all disk partition informations of a heterogeneous server. CONSTITUTION: A client system is connected to the SAN storage. In order to confirm the disk partition information of the SAN storages connected to each server system, a user executes a client program on the client system. The client system transmits a request signal for the disk partition information to one or all servers. A server program transmits the disk partition information upon the request signal of the disk partition information. The client system receives/displays the disk partition information.
