METHOD FOR CACHING INDEX DATA FOR AND OPERATIONS BASED ON REAL-TIME ANALYSIS OF USER'S QUERIES IN A WEB SEARCH ENGINE

PURPOSE: A method for caching the index data for an AND operation based on an analysis of a real-time user query on a web search engine is provided to minimize a frequency and time for the disk I/O(Input/Output) needed for processing an AND query on the web search engine, and efficiently use a memory space of a server executing the web search engine. CONSTITUTION: It is judged that a word included in the AND query is included in the first and the second word list. If the word included in the AND query is included in the first and the second word list, the index data corresponding to the word is read from the first caching memory area(603). If the word included in the AND query is included in the first word list and not included in the second word list, the index data corresponding to the word is read from the second caching data area(606).
