PURPOSE: A component having resistive termination and an inductor having resistive termination are provided to intercept RF current and obtain a low frequency impedance matching function by using the inductor having the resistive termination. CONSTITUTION: A component having resistive termination includes an insulating matrix and at least one conductive element. The insulating matrix includes a ferrite material. The conductive element is situated within the insulating matrix. The conductive element includes a resistive conductive element having a resistance sufficient to provide the resistive termination. An inductor(100) having resistive termination includes an insulating matrix(102) and one or more conductive elements(104A-104H) situated within the insulating matrix. The conductive elements provide inductance and include at least one resistive conductive element having a resistance sufficient to provide the resistive termination.
