摘要

PURPOSE: A hybrid type NRD(Non-Radiative Dielectric) waveguide local oscillator coupled to a waveguide cavity resonator is provided to maximize the output power and obtain the desired output power by using a back-short circuit. CONSTITUTION: An NRD waveguide(117) is arranged across an installation cavity(130) within a parallel conduction housing(113). A back-short circuit is formed with an impedance converter(122), a transition part(119), and a waveguide cavity(103). A metal rod resonator(115) is arranged at an opposite side of an output port on the basis of a feeding point in order to provide the impedance matching between the NRD guide and a gun diode(102). The impedance converter is used for controlling the intensity of oscillating signals. The transition part is used for converting an LSM mode to a TE mode. The waveguide cavity is formed with an empty part defined by a back side of a tail part of the NRD guide and an upper side, a lower side, and a sidewall of the parallel conduction housing.
