MOBILE IP COMMUNICATION METHOD USING A DHCP SERVER, CONCERNED WITH SUPPLYING A MOBILE IP NETWORK WITHOUT A FOREIGN AGENT

PURPOSE: A mobile IP communication method using a DHCP(Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) server is provided to enable a mobile node to search IP subnet information to sense a changed IP subnet, and to register a current position of the mobile node in an HA(Home Agent), thereby supplying a mobile IP network without an FA(Foreign Agent). CONSTITUTION: If a user turns on power of a mobile node(10)(S301), the mobile node(10) broadcasts a solicitation message and a DHCP discover message to peripherals(S302,S303). A DHCP server(20) transmits a DHCP offer message to the mobile node(10) as a response(S304). The mobile node(10) confirms an address of the DHCP server(20) included in the DHCP offer message(S305), and transmits an IP address assign request signal to the DHCP server(20)(S306). The DHCP server(20) assigns a mobile IP to the mobile node(10)(S307). The mobile node(10) generates a co-located COA(Care Of Address) by using a self mobile IP, and transmits a position registration request message to an HA(30)(S308,S309). The HA(30) updates an address management table, and registers a current position of the mobile node(10)(S310). The HA(30) transmits a response message to the mobile node(10)(S311).
