USE OF IL10 HAPLOTYPE FOR PREDICTING SUSCEPTIBILITY TO PROGRESSION OF HBV TO DEVELOPMENT OF HCC CONSEQUETNLY TO INHIBIT DEVELOPMENT OF HCC BY IMITATING OR INCREASING THE ACTIVITY OF IL-10(INTERLEUKIN-10)

摘要

PURPOSE: Use of IL10 haplotype for predicting susceptibility to progression of HBV to development of HCC is provided. Therefore, the development of HCC(hepatocellular carcinoma) is effectively inhibited by imitating or increasing the activity of IL-10(interleukin-10). CONSTITUTION: A method for predicting susceptibility to progression of HBV or development of HCC is characterized by measuring IL10 haplotype which is dose-dependent on the progression of HBV or development of HCC, wherein the IL10 haplotype is IL-heterotype2(IL-ht2). The method for predicting susceptibility of progression of HBV or development of HCC comprises the steps of: collecting a DNA sample containing human IL10; and detecting IL10 haplotype which is dose-dependent on the progression of HBV or development of HCC using one or more of primers having the nucleotide sequence selected from SEQ ID NO:1 to SEQ ID NO:12. A kit for predicting susceptibility of progression of HBV or development of HCC comprises probes which specifically bind to an human IL10 haplotype sequence.
