METHOD FOR CANCELING READING OR WRITING OPERATION WITHIN MEMORY SYSTEM HAVING DRAM DEVICE WITHOUT GENERATING AN ADDITIONAL STANDBY TIME

PURPOSE: A method for canceling reading or writing operation within memory system having dram device is provided to improve reliability of a memory system without generating an additional standby time and correct troubles related to a detecting operation and an interconnecting operation. CONSTITUTION: Address information and control information for operations of a DRAM device through a memory controller are provided to enable a data stream. The memory controller masks data and protects a data stream in a reading operation when receiving a command signal. A command cancel signal is generated to disable a system when an incorrect data stream is provided to the DRAM device during a clocking cycle of the system. The system is restored according to the command signal.
