CENTRIFUGAL SAND FILTERING SYSTEM IMPROVING FILTERING PERFORMANCE

PURPOSE: A centrifugal sand filtering system is provided to improve filtering performance and reduce filtering cost by simultaneously filtering the contaminants and filtering suspended solids by the centrifugal force through filter as contaminants stored in storage tank is causing the centrifugal force of materials in sand filter by injection nozzle. CONSTITUTION: The centrifugal sand filtering system comprises a storage tank(11) for storing contaminated water; a cylindrical sand filter(12) for filtering contaminants of the storage tank through filtering media; a filter(13) for filtering suspended solids of the sand filter; a transfer means connected with the storage tank, the sand filter and filter to transfer the contaminants; and an injection nozzle connected to the transfer means and mounted on an upper inner part of the sand filter to cause the centrifugal force in the sand filter by injecting the contaminants, wherein the transfer means comprises first pipe(21) for transferring contaminants by pump(20), second valve(32) branched off from the first pipe to open and close second pipe(22), third valve(33) branched off from the first pipe to open and close third pipe(23), fourth valve branched off from the third pipe to transfer filtered water, fifth valve(35) branched off from fourth pipe(24) to open and close fifth pipe(25), sixth valve(36) branched off from the third pipe to open and close sixth pipe(26), seventh valve(37) branched off from sixth pipe to open and close seventh pipe(27), and eighth valve(38) connected to an upper part of the sand filter to open and close eight pipe(28), wherein a sand discharge pipe(15) for discharging pressure or discharging materials backwashed and a sand discharge valve(16) for opening and closing the sand discharge pipe are installed on an upper part of the sand filter, and wherein a filter discharge pipe(17) for discharging pressure and a filter discharge valve(18) for opening and closing the filter discharge pipe are installed on an upper part of the filter.
