METHOD FOR PROCESSING FUNCTIONAL CODE BY USING DUAL STACK SYSTEM IN ASYNCHRONOUS NETWORK, ESPECIALLY CONCERNED WITH ACTIVATING/INACTIVATING A FUNCTIONAL CODE IN AN ASYNCHRONOUS NETWORK AND ROUTING TO A SPECIFIC SERVER FOR PROCESSING AN ADDITIONAL SERVICE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FUNCTIONAL CODE
PURPOSE: A method for processing a functional code by using a dual stack system in an asynchronous network is provided to enable an exchange to deliver an announcement message in accordance with additional service processing results to a terminal, or to process an additional service requested by a user by routing to other HLR, thereby processing a requested functional code without changing or expanding a switching system. CONSTITUTION: When a subscriber roams to an asynchronous network, a 3G MSC requests a dual stack HLR to register a position, and the dual stack HLR sets trigger information(S100). If the subscriber attempts originating a call by inputting a functional code(S102), the 3G MSC transmits a service control request message including the functional code to the dual stack HLR(S104). The dual stack HLR confirms the functional code(S106), activates or inactivates an additional service, and assigns a resource for delivering an announcement to the 3G MSC(S108), then transmits an announcement code to the MSC(S110). The MSC delivers the announcement to a terminal(S112), and transmits announcement processing results(S114), then releases a speech path(S116).
