PURPOSE: Provided are a method for manufacturing functional wood carpet and wood carpet manufactured by the same method to achieve high performance and cost effectiveness just by using a small amount of functional substance which radiates various beneficial materials used to protect the human body and to enhance aesthetical attraction while being harmless to the human body. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises: preparing a wood panel by applying a resin adhesive and functional substance of radiating far IR rays on material wood; obtaining a decorative trim member from the material wood impregnated in a diluent containing negative ions and the far IF ray radiating functional substance; preparing an adhesive by adding functional substance of shielding water strata and EMI and the adhesive functional substance to a thermally curable resin; preparing a preliminary adhesive panel; providing an adhesive panel by spraying a diluent containing antibiotic functional substance onto the preliminary adhesive panel and thermally compressing the resultant substance; providing a coated panel containing fragrance dispensing functional substance; providing unit pieces by cutting the coated panel into a predetermined size; and assembling the unit piece on a non-woven fabric and wrapping a rim member to be fastened.
