PURPOSE: Provided is a method for improving the properties of asphalt by using a polymer blend, which can improve dispersibility and productivity in preparing modified-asphalt. CONSTITUTION: The method for improving the properties of asphalt uses the polymer blend as an asphalt modifier, wherein the polymer blend is prepared in the form of solid-state pellets and comprises a styrene-butadiene-styrene block copolymer or a styrene-butadiene block copolymer having a molecular weight of 30,000-500,000 and a styrene-butadiene random copolymer having a molecular weight of 30,000-500,000 and containing 10-50 weight ratio of styrene.
