PURPOSE: Chanel fabric is characterized by using chanel yarn having sandglass type loops not to be separated from core yarn, having beautiful appearance and soft feel of texture, preventing remnants of yarn from being taken by phisical friction or washing, and having excellent hygroscopicity, excellent functionality and excellent durability. A manufacturing method thereof is characterized by using non-melted yarn as the core yarn and reducing weight on a batch type device before weaving to prevent pile yarn from removing. CONSTITUTION: Chanel fabric contains chanel yarn comprised of two core yarns(310,320) used as warp and crossed each other and 2-4 additional yarns(350) used as weft and formed in a space originated from cross of the core yarns. The chanel fabric is obtained by the steps of: using non-melted yarn as the core yarn; using the additional yarn containing at least one composite fiber comprised of synthetic fiber having at least two ingredients; weaving first fabric out of the core yarn and the additional yarn; cutting the additional yarn of the fabric to spin into the chanel yarn; weaving second the fabric containing the chanel yarn; and then weight-reducing the fabric on a batch type device to make the composite fiber of the chanel yarn into superfine yarn.
