IMAGE PROCESSING ALARM SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR AUTOMATICALLY SENSING UNEXPECTED ACCIDENT AT TRAIN PLATFORM

PURPOSE: An image processing alarm system for sensing automatically a sudden happening at a subway/railway platform and a method for the same are provided to manage positively the sudden happening by using an image processing method. CONSTITUTION: An image processing alarm system for sensing automatically a sudden happening at a subway/railway platform includes a camera portion(10), an image distributor(20), an image converter(30), an image processor(40), an alarm controller(50), an image divider(60), a wireless transmitter(70), a vehicle device(80), and a controller. The camera portion(10) is formed with a monitoring camera and an image sensing camera. The image distributor(20) is connected to the camera portion(10) in order to transmit an image of the camera portion(10). The image converter(30) converts an analog image signal of the image distributer(20) to a digital image signal. The image processor(40) processes the digital image signal of the image converter(30) in order to sense a sudden happening at a platform. The alarm controller(50) receives an alarm signal including the image signal information of the sudden happening from the image processor(40) and transmits an alarm control signal to a train office, a control center, and a vehicle. The image divider(60) divides the image signal including the sudden happening in order to display plural image signals on one screen. The wireless transmitter(70) transmits the image signal or the image signal including the sudden happening. The vehicle device(80) is installed on the vehicle to display the received image signal. The controller controls all operations in order to sense the sudden happening and generate the alarm sound.
