FIELD: construction engineering; erection of pipe lines for reduction of positive buoyancy of extended cylindrical bodies. SUBSTANCE: proposed weighting material contains pair of ballast weights which are symmetrical relative to pipe line with load-bearing members of combination belt articulated to it Each ballast weight is provided with thrust cover plate made from synthetic non-woven material and located on lower flat wall which is directed towards pipe line and is engageable with it below its horizontal axial plane. Soft belts of combination belt are located in X-shaped pattern relative to longitudinal axis of pipe line and are fastened by cover plate laid in central part. Soft belts are located at definite angle between them. Starting part of blind slots is taper in shape to exclude damage to flexible struts of combination belt.
