Method for running base and auxiliary programs on the same computer under the same operating system. Windows for the programs are visible on the same monitor. The auxiliary program determines a base window marker for the base window based on characteristic identifiers of the base program. The marker is used to set and adjust the position and size of the base window. The base window is set defined values (x, y, b, h) for position and size in the auxiliary program. The invention also relates to a corresponding computer program for implementing the inventive integration method.
