The hydropneumatic pressure accumulator (1) is divided into three chambers, the first filled with a gas, the second between the first and third filled with a buffer fluid, and the third filled with an operating fluid. The first and second chambers (6,7) are separated by an elastic membrane (5), and between the second and third chambers (7,12) is a floating piston (8). The cylindrical casing (2) of the pressure accumulator has a section constructed as a piston cylinder completing the piston movement which is limited by stops (9,10) on the inner cylinder wall (11) and end cap (4).
