Operating container crane for loading transport vehicle, e.g. ship, involves semi-automatic process taking into account obstruction and/or target position height data acquired before/during loading
The method involves moving a trolley carriage (6) without or without a container (9) relative to a transport vehicle, e.g. a ship (3), in an at least semi-automatic mode and positioning it relative to a selectable position on the transport vehicle. The semi-automatic process takes into account data representing the heights of obstructions and/or target positions on the vehicle acquired before and/or during loading. An Independent claim is also included for a container crane for implementing the inventive method.
