Filling level measurement and indication device for a liquid container (3) especially an agricultural field sprayer. The device comprises a shaft that passes through a sealed hole in the container wall. The end of the shaft within the container is connected to an arm (12) and float (7) while the other end has an indicator element that rotates with the shaft over a volume scale (13) on the container wall. Alternately and or additionally the shaft can have an electronic rotation angle sensor that is connected to an electronic display.
