The domestic food chopper or preparer has a tub (1) receiving a rotary cutter head (4) and a lid (3) to close the tub opening and carry a drive (5) for the cutter. Between the lid and tub is a guide ring (17) to prevent rotation between the tub and lid or between the lid and drive. There are multiple guide rings similarly divided around their circumference.
