Molded body comprising a nonprotein gelling agent, optionally one or more active ingredients and optionally one or more auxiliary agents is used for external application, is new. Independent claims are also included for: (1) molded body comprising at least 10 %, by weight of a nonprotein gelling agent having, as a 1 % solution or suspension in water at 20 degreesC and pH 6-8, a viscosity of less than 2000 mPas, 0.000001-50 %, by weight of one or more active ingredients, 0.1-70 %, by weight of one or more auxiliary agents and up to 20 %, by weight water; (2) combination of at least one molded body as above and at least one aqueous solution containing one or more active ingredients and/or auxiliary agents in a matching spatial arrangement.
