Method for calibrating gauge blocks, whereby the gauge blocks are combined to form gauge block pairs with a calibration unit that has at least one measurement position. The gauge block pairs are measured using a data processing system, which controls movement of the pairs to and from the measurement position at which they are calibrated. The invention also relates to a corresponding device.
