Road lane tracking system has permanent and temporary markings in different colors that are automatically identified

A road system has driving lanes [1a,1b] marked permanently [1c,1d] and areas where the lane are temporarily reduced have temporary markings [1e]. Different colors are used for the markings that are monitored by a color video camera. The output is used to distinguish automatically between the permanent and temporary markings.
